Too many investors wanting to invest ethically or sustainably are being forced to take a leap of faith due to woolly or misleading claims by fund management companies. The Financial Markets Authority has sent a strong message to fund managers to ensure they can back up any promises they make around ethical, responsible or sustainable investment.
